Overview
Onyx Systems operates the Onyx Protocol website and related web interfaces. This policy explains what information may be processed when visitors use the website, connect a wallet, view token information, or interact with public blockchain features.
Information We May Process
The website may process wallet addresses, public blockchain transaction data, browser/device information, and information that a visitor voluntarily provides through contact or support flows. Public blockchain data is visible on-chain and may be indexed by third parties.
- Wallet information, including public addresses and connected network IDs.
- Public on-chain activity, including balances, approvals, transfers, mints, redeems, and swaps.
- Basic technical information, such as browser type, device type, timestamps, and request logs.
- Contact information submitted directly by a visitor or listing reviewer.
Wallet Connections
Connecting a wallet allows the website to read public wallet information, display balances, prepare transactions, and show protocol actions. The website cannot move assets without a wallet-signed transaction.
KYC and Privacy Features
Certain protocol functions, including shielded transfer features, may require identity, compliance, or KYC checks before use. When such checks are enabled, additional information may be handled by the applicable compliance provider or Onyx-approved operator under separate procedures.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the website, display token and protocol data, prepare user-requested transactions, respond to inquiries, protect against misuse, support compliance controls, and maintain public token metadata for wallet and market-data review.
Sharing and Third Parties
Onyx Systems may rely on third-party infrastructure providers, wallet providers, RPC providers, analytics or security tooling, compliance providers, and public blockchain explorers. Wallets, RPC endpoints, blockchains, market-data providers, and explorers operate independently from Onyx Systems.
Cookies and Analytics
The website may use essential browser storage, wallet-connection state, or analytics tools to keep the site functioning and understand aggregate usage. Visitors can manage browser storage through their browser settings, but some wallet or dashboard features may not work correctly if storage is disabled.
Retention and Security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, compliance, security, support, and recordkeeping. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, and users should never send seed phrases, private keys, or wallet recovery information to Onyx Systems.
User Rights
Depending on location, visitors may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information. Public blockchain data cannot generally be deleted or changed by Onyx Systems because it is maintained by decentralized networks and independent indexers.
Children
The website and protocol interfaces are not intended for children or for anyone below the legal age required to use digital-asset services in their jurisdiction.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the website, protocol, compliance program, or public listing process changes. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
